Welcome! Thank you for your interest in Tennessee Coaches Alliance (TCA). TCA is a nonprofit professional organization affiliated with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and upholds the standards and ethics set forth by the ICF. We're committed to developing the coaching field by maintaining a professional designation.
Vision: We are a professional community of coaches who support each other and the community in creating and sustaining fulfilling results in our personal and professional lives.
Mission: Our mission is to support the professional development of our member community, to educate the public about the coaching profession and to uphold the ethics of the International Coach Federation.
We accomplish this by:
Participating in a dynamic coaching community
Providing support for Professional coach development
Raising awareness of the Middle Tennessee communities and beyond about the coaching profession
Providing a network through which our members can learn of and share opportunities
ICF Code of Ethics
Pledge of Ethics: As professional coaches, we acknowledge and agree to honor my ethical obligations to our coaching clients and colleagues and to the public at large. We pledge to comply with the International Coach Federation (ICF) Standards of Ethical Conduct, to treat people with dignity as independent and equal human beings, and to model these standards with those whom we coach. If we breach this Pledge of Ethics or any ICF Standards of Ethical Conduct, we agree that the ICF in its sole discretion may hold us accountable for so doing. We further agree that our accountability to the ICF of any breach may include loss of our ICF membership or our ICF credentialing.
